The advisor to the Union of Broiler Farmers announced: “estimates indicate that day-old chick placement in September will reach 148 million units, adding that there is no concern regarding the future market conditions.”
According to him, due to the reduction in heat stress and the number of chick placements, there is no concern about the future of poultry market.
The advisor to the Union of Broiler Poultry Farmers stated that the average monthly poultry production is 240,000 tons and added: “Considering the per capita consumption, a monthly production of 230,000 tons of poultry, meets the domestic market demand and strategic reserves.”
He continued: “The country is in a situation where it should not be expected that the price of poultry will remain the same from the beginning to the end of the year, and that inflation, medication, and supplements consistently impact the final production cost.”
while stating that there are no problems in poultry production, he emphasized: “Considering that supply is exceeding the demand, prices will be decreased and accordingly, the government should issue permits for poultry exports.”
