Chicken export reached to 33 Metric Ton

ITPNews

IRAN - The vice president of Poultry Farmers Union said: “According to statistics, since the beginning of the year, chicken exports have reached 33 metric tons.”

Referring that supply of chicken has exceeded market demand, Vice President of Broilers Farmers' Union - Seyed Sadraddin Azimi - said: “Considering the increase in volume of hatchings, the purchase of supporting livestock affairs does not have an effect on the market, due to the price and exchange with livestock Feed.

Adding that there is no serious decesion for exporting, Azimi added: After a few months of ban in export, some exports have been resumed, but they will not continue.

According to him, referring to the current price of live broiler and the livestock supporting affairs, there is no motivation for increase in January hatchings.

Referring to the necessity of at least 10 metric tons chicken export to the target countries per month, Azimi stated: “According to the current data 32 to 33 metric ton chicken have been exported this year, which is not satisfying but should be better.”
