Russia negotiations to expand export

IRAN - The CEO of Iran Broiler Farmers' Union emphasized that export products should be produced in the country and stated: We will hold negotiations with Russia this week in order to develop exports.
“According to the available statistics, a total of 13,000 tons of chicken were exported this year, 8,000 tons of which were coordinated by the union and the exporters were different. The main destination of this export is Iraq because the climatic conditions and friendly relations with this country are suitable. But it cannot be called a reliable export, because focusing on one country shows that only business relations have strengthened it. We have to produce a product for export, and in this regard, we will have a negotiation with Russia this week. We have also sent to Pakistan and Oman within the limits of the test range, and we intend to expand the export market to the rest of the countries.” said Ali Ebrahimi the CEO of Iran Broiler Farmers' Union.
Emphasizing that we do not have any problems or shortages in the field of day-old chickens and soybean meal and corn, he continued: “the prices vary, but the price of live chicken today is reported from 56 to 59 thousand tomans per kilo. We should try to have better marketing by expanding the scope of exports in the region and help the sustainability of production and change the price of chicken to a reasonable price!”
At the end, Ebrahimi declared that: “Although we have no shortages in livestock and oil meals, but poultry farming has other costs that must be economically viable; that is, a production unit must receive a profit after the completion of the work, not a loss! and we have tried to do this. Let's say, since last September, there has been a relative stability in the chicken market and we are trying to maintain this condition.”
