Eggs Export to Africa for the first time

IRAN - The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mihan Poultry Union said: Eggs were exported to two African countries for the first time in the last week.
According to the statistics, about 4 thousand tons of eggs have been purchased from poultry farmers at a rate of 55 thousand tomans.
Stating that we do not have any restrictions on the supporting purchase of eggs, Kashani added: “until the end of August, we will produce as much as we need, and with the improvement in consumption in September, we do not have to worry about the surplus!”
According to him, Estimates indicate that August egg productions will reach 108 thousand tons, which is 5 to 6 thousand tons surplus - including domestic consumption. Regarding the latest status of egg export, he said: “According to the statistics, 60,000 tons equal to 60 million dollars have been exported since the beginning of the year, which we hope will increase by 3 - 5% compared to the previous year.”
It should be mentioned that eggs have been exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, UAE and recently to two African countries for the first time.
