ITPNews

According to a member of the delegation of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, although the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad has not published any official notice regarding ban in the export of chicken, but in practice it does not issue an export license.

Hossein Mehdizad a member of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce delegation said about the latest status of banning or allowing the export of chicken: “Ministry of Agricultural Jihad has not issued any official notice banning the export of chicken, but in practice it does not give export permits either.”

He added: “In the September – October and with the beginning of the cold season, the production of poultry farmers has increased compared to the previous months due to the increase in demand, like every year, and if this sudden and not announced in advance stop in exports continues, considering this increase in production, the supply will exceed the demand and the market balance is disturbed.”

Mehdizad noted that: “At the present, the only exporting target for Iranian chicken is Iraq; unfortunately, our attempt to enter the Oman market was not successful and the veterinarian of this country did not approve our product, but the Russians decided to import chicken from Iran after they approved Iranian eggs.

Consider that we have tried our best to export our chicken to Russia and if agricultural jihad obstruction will continue in the way of chicken export all these efforts would be worthless.
