Egg Export from Iran to Africa for the first time

IRAN - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mihan Poultry Union said: “Eggs were exported to two African countries for the first time in the last week.”
Hamidreza Kashani said: According to statistics, about 4 thousand tons of eggs have been purchased from poultry farmers at a rate of 55 thousand tomans.
According to him, during 3 stages, we raised the price of egg support purchase to 57 thousand 500 tomans. At the end of the week, we will carry out the last step of supportive purchase at the rate of 57 thousand 500 tomans so that there is no problem in production.
Stating that we do not have any restrictions on the supportive purchase of eggs, Kashani added: until the end of August, we will produce as much as we need, and in September, with the improvement in consumption, we do not have to worry about the surplus.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Poultry Farmers' Union announced that the price of each kilogram of eggs in chain stores and supermarkets is 58,000 tomans adding that: “The reasonable price of each bulk egg is 4,000 tomans, and the supply at a higher rate is considered as gouging.”
According to him, considering domestic consumption, estimates indicate that August egg production will reach 108,000 tons, which is 5,000 to 6,000 tons extra.
About the latest state of egg export, he said: “According to the statistics, 60,000 tons worth 60 million dollars have been exported since the beginning of the year, which we hope will increase by 3-5% compared to the previous year. It should be mentioned that eggs have been exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, UAE and recently to two African countries for the first time!”
