IRAN; 2,500 million tones Annual Chicken Consuming

According to the formal statistics, maximum chicken meat consumption is about 2,400 million tones annually. 

Mohammad Ali Kamali Sarvestani – Broilers Union member declared: “Considering increasing of hatchings, supportive purchase should be set in our agenda to provide internal reserves. On the other hand, production surplus should be exported to the target markets so that we would reach to foreign exchange earnings in addition to production sustainability.” 

He continued: “At present, our production capacity is up to 3 million tones; however, 2,400 million tones is produced.”
